In 2009 Christian Plattner planted a misture of clones taken from historical vines that went back to the times of his great grandparents. This is a unique wine, rich in history and tradition. It was released on the market in 2010

The estate, which is in the classical zone of Sankt Magdalena, exists since the XII century and was originally owned by a monastery. The property was purchased by the grandfather of the present owner who used to sell wine in bulk. Wine started being bottled in 1970. Indigenous varietals of Alto Adige - Pink Muscat. Schiava (Vernatsch) and Lagrein - are grown together with a small quantity of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Bianco.
