History:
The estate has belonged to the Grimaldi family since 1930, but Ferruccio Grimaldi, who now manages the estate, started vinifying the grapes of "Le Coste", an historical cru of Barolo, in 1996. Besides Barolo "Le Coste", Ferruccio makes a Dolcetto d'Alba, two Barbere, a Nebbiolo d'Alba, Barolo "Sotto Castello di Novello" and, starting with the 2004 vintage, a Barolo "normale". These wines are now appreciated worldwide.
